“Sometimes, you have a kid who finally says “Enough is enough. We are not going to lose this game!” When that happens, as a coach, you want that kid to have the ball in his hands as much as possible. Jacorey Howard has been a steady rock for our team through a 23-game losing streak, and he took it upon himself to end that streak last night. The entire stadium was awestruck by his performance when they put his stats on the jumbotron after the game. I challenge y’all to find another kid who has gone through a 23-game losing streak and then single-handedly puts his 6A team on his back and shows them how to win. You won’t find anyone, ever, because that just doesn’t happen! I’ve never seen anything like it in all of my twenty-five years of coaching” – Head Coach, Hank Semler
